Description
The European Ayurveda Centre is an agricultural estate with treatment and research facilities specialized in traditional Ayurveda. The buildings of the centre belonged to a former large farm that is fully adapted to current use. The rooms are furnished to consultation rooms, treatment rooms, temples, a gallery and a large presentation hall.

The centre offers treatments and courses in traditional Ayurveda and Siddha medicines and provide internal accomodation. People from all walks of life and from all over the world found their way to this place. Patients suffering from mental and physical problems with not much progress through western medicine found the Ayurveda treatment to be a very good answer for their problems.
Ayurveda is the oldest healing art in the world (5000 years old) and finds her origin in India. It is a holistic healing art in which the relationship between body mind and soul plays an important role. Ayurveda works through phytotherapy, diet and various treatment methods and in the Netherlands the costs are covered by 45 health insurance companies.
All the gardens (approximately 8 hectares) surrounding the center are designed and modified according to Vastu principles. This Indian art of design is a method that helps to create an environment in harmony and balance with nature and the spiritual energies around it. This has a profound effect on the growth of the medicinal herbs. This herbs are used in the preparation of medicinal products for the patients.
The Centre was established by the Ayurveda doctors dr. V.P. Mohana Kumari, Cornelis Peters and Vighnesh M. Peters. Together they form the inspirational driving force behind this centre. V.P. Mohana Kumari is specialized in Bhuta Vydia (Psychiatry). Cornelis Peters is specialized in Kaya Chikitsa (Internal medicines). Vighnesh Maharaj Peters is specialized in coachings and pre-vedic astrology.
