- The Guardian Angel Store was founded in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Our Mission: Educate people about God. We started with enough money to buy a domain name and web hosting for a few months. We started www.Pray4us.org which soon became www.GAPrayer.org or The Guardian Angel Prayer Station. We grew our site as much as we could bringing written prayers, prayers requests, daily gospel readings and Christian News to the internet masses. We wanted to bring more to the table. We wanted to be able to send out Bibles and other Religious Artifacts. Unfortunately this was way out of our budget, and we soon realized that we needed some way to finance this ministry we had started. We did not want to ask for donations, but rather to give something more to the community. Then came the idea. Why not open a book store? The idea was that we can sell items as close to cost as possible and make things affordable to the general public while at the same time helping to support our mission. So we prayed about it and soon came up with enough money to start another venture on the internet...The Guardian Angel Store. We named it that because during everything that has happened over the past few years, and all the events that lead us to this, our Guardian Angels must have been watching over us. That being said, you may notice that our site has a devotion to three things: God, Angels, and Prayer. That wasn\'t enough, no, we hungered for more. What if we opened a brick and mortar store, maybe even have space for Homeschoolers and Religious groups to gather and learn together? No sooner had we thought of the idea than the idea had become reality. We stumbled across an opening in the mall. From there we were set, we were on a mission. We put everything we had into it. Time, Money, we even put our houses on the line for this idea. Once again, we had come up with just enough money to start something new. Though the road was a bumpy one, dealing with all the things one must go through to open a store and in less than 3 months time, with God\'s Blessings, we opened The Guardian Angel Store in Colorado Springs, CO on April 26, 2005.
