About Yantalo

The Yantalo Foundation, Peru, was founded in 2005 by Luis Vasquez. MD, Mary Vasquez PhD, Roberto Vasquez PHD, Mario Vasquez MS and Ian Vasquez MS, to help meet the needs of the people of Yantalo in Peru by providing meaningful programs in Health, Education and Culture. Yantalo Foundation offers a unique way of giving back to the community through its Volunteer Program, and invites people of all nationalities to participate. The active involvement and financial contributions of the volunteers and community make these programs sustainable.

Yantalo Clinic

Yantalo Adelina Soplin Clinic is an initiative to improve the Health of the people of Yantalo. Many people and organizations have come forward to donate their expertise, time and resources for this cause, including NewSchool of Architecture and Design and Municipality of Yantalo, Moyobamba (PERU). You can also donate construction materials and hospital supplies for Yantalo Clinic.

Get Involved

Even your smallest contribution makes a difference in the Health and Education systems in Yantalo. Following are some of the ways in which you can get involved:

You can become an ambassador for Yantalo, if you do not have the time or resources to travel to Yantalo. An ambassadors role is to involve others by sharing information about Yantalo and generating donations. You can also encourage the people and institutions in your area to donate school and medical supplies.
Sponsor: the education of a child, school supplies, the annual salary of an English teacher, the maintenance of the Biology or Computer Department, construction materials, or the hospital supplies/areas for Yantalo Clinic.
Become an organizer for groups to travel to Yantalo. You can go for free if there more than 12 people in the group you are leading.

Volunteer

The Yantalo Foundation invites you to come to Yantalo if you have five or more days to visit the Peruvian Amazon Jungle. As a volunteer you can help the people of Yantalo and learn from them by investing your knowledge, skills and time in the education, health and culture of Yantalo. Sign up to become a Volunteer!
