A message from the Principal
Wymondham College is a Foundation boarding and day school with Technology College status. We have over 1000 students including 387 in the Sixth Form and are situated on an an 82 acre site in rural South Norfolk, some 20 kms from Norwich.
Being a Foundation school means that we can offer a boarding education at an extremely affordable price for such a successful school. Boarding fees of about £6,705.00 per year (not per term) simply cover the accommodation costs and make the College an increasingly popular secondary education option.
The College is a community of excellence, a powerhouse of academic achievement and a support for personal pupil development. That is no mere boast, in 2004 Ofsted inspectors pronounced us ’a very effective school’ and, indeed, our GCSE and A Level results consistently rank the College alongside the top achieving schools in the country. In 2004 our GCSE results showed 100% of our students gaining 5 A-C grades. We are also a Specialist College with our main focus on Maths and Science,DT and IT though of course all areas of the curriculum are important to us.
