Description
I first discovered my love for woodworking in grade 8 shop class (just a few years back). I liked the craft so much, that I continued taking classes until grade 10, but that's where it stopped. Several years ago, I finally picked up a piece of wood for the first time in almost 2 decades, and began with a humble box. Hooked again, the next thing I knew, I was making designer firewood, in a garage full of woodworking equipment. Circumstances dictate that I stick to the small stuff most of the time (scrolled woodcrafts). But I have been known to whip up the occasional cabinet, or other piece of furniture.
In 2003, I discovered that the Collins Wood Industry Directory website was for sale. I had visited the Collins site many times, and found it to be a great resource. This opportunity would allow me to combine my passion for 'information gathering' with my love of wood - it couldn't have been more perfect. I made a few changes, such as the name, and added some products for sale...and Woodwork Zone was born.
I work from my home, in London, Ontario, Canada. I ship orders by mail, as expedited parcels. This delivery method is slower, but keeps costs down - benefiting everyone. The preferred method of payment is Pay Pal, but I also accept money orders and personal checks(*).
