Wood, Steel & Glas has specialized in white cedar and cypress decking, siding and trim for over 25 years. Architect and founder, Wilfred Armster, began using white cedar in 1971 for his own architectural projects at the advice of a professor at the Yale Forestry School. Impressed with the durability and enchanted by the silver gray color when weathered, he founded the company to ensure a steady supply. Acquired all along the eastern seaboard, our lumber is milled to specification on site in Madison, Connecticut.
