Company Profile
Texas Imperial Software is a small company dedicated to providing server software that allows our customers to maintain and enhance their presence on the Internet. Our primary aims are for security, stability, simplicity , and speed. Started in 1993 as a way to plug a gap in a developer's set of TCP/IP tools, we now serve many thousand registered customers, several of whom have deployed our products at thousands more of their own sites. In addition, we also serve many more people that have not yet registered our products, although we do look forward to the day when those people decide to become our customers.
You will find our software in areas as diverse as machine shops, aircraft manufacturers, colleges, computer-related companies, radio stations, etc. In many cases, you will have encountered our software without realizing it - while other companies' software is frequently mentioned in security alerts, we work hard to ensure that our software is secured before we release it to customers.
Philosophy
All our products have a simple philosophy behind them - we won't write or release software that we don't use [or don't want to use] ourselves. As such, our products are useful, easy to use, and not over-burdened with unnecessary eye-catchers. At times, we've been asked "why don't you sell a tool to do XYZ?" and the answer is generally that we don't see a need for it, that isn't already filled by some other software.
