Description
On June 1st 2006 I was honored to be one of the presenters on behalf of World Cup for the prestigious annual WCS/TWS award show in Hollywood. Every year lots of the top skaters and their fans attend to celebrate the achievements of the years most outstanding skaters.
As you probably already know, On April 6th Danny Way made skateboarding history with a World record Bomb drop Jump from a perch that was built for the jump 72 feet up, off of the Fender Stratocaster Guitar at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. The landing ramp was 56 feet tall and HE MADE IT in only about 4 tries!! Way to go Danny!!
My winter of 2006 started like most of the winters past. First stop was at the Sessions comp in Vail. Nightime action with lots of pyrotechnics/Flying Fireballs!! Shaun White won this slopestyle event for the 4th year in a row making history with 4 variations of the 1080 in a row.
