Established in 1977 and based at Leasowe Recreation Centre, Wirral Aquarius is one of the most successful swimming clubs in the region. We have over 100 members of all swimming abilities ranging from 6 years old beginners to international class swimmers, and even one world record holder!
be instructed by qualified coaches who, dependent on your ability, will eather teach you how to swim or help you develop your swimming to its full potential
Targeted at the younger age group we run our highly successful swim scheme for children new to swimming primarily using the shallow small pool. This will develop your swimming technique in all the strokes. you are grouped by ability and moved to more advanced sessions as you improve, which you do very quickly!!
