- George Walters graduated from Penn State in 1992, then went to work in private industry as a controls engineer. During this time, he completed numerous successful projects for large clients throughout the United States. In 1999, he enrolled full-time at Lehigh University as a Ph.D. candidate in Computer Engineering. After finishing his residency and all required coursework, he started Walters Controls. Today he works on his dissertation in his spare time, and plans to finish his doctorate this year.
