Vtvast.org has trail information and classes for Vermont area snowmobilers
Title
Vermont Association of Snow Travelers - Snowmobile Vermont
Description
TMA stands for Trails Maintenance Assessment and is the pass, which allows you to snowmobile on signed and groomed VAST trails. Each TMA is placed on the left-side of your snowmobile cowl adjacent to your state registration, according to VT law.
TMAs can only be purchased from a local club. There are 143 clubs throughout the state of Vermont. Many clubs contract with local businesses to sell TMAs for them or they are handled by mail or online. A list of clubs can be found on this site, pick an area where you will do most of your riding and give them a call!
At this time, it looks like the 2004/05 TMA costs are going to remain the same as last season. Final TMA prices are voted upon at the Annual Meeting. The VAST Annual Meeting is on September 18, 2004 at the Collins Perley Sport Center in St. Albans.
