People
The company was founded in 2001 by Mark J. Marriott, CEO. A former Fortune 500 VP, Mr. Marriott is a serial entrepreneur. He previously co-founded e-commerce success story Brave New Worlds, and sold it to VA Linux Systems. The company's CTO, Reza B'Far, has designed mobile application systems for several Fortune 500 companies. A widely renowned expert in the field, Mr. B'Far essentially wrote the book on mobile application development.
In business development, Bob Gueth is a 20 year telecom veteran who helped create the SMS market as CEO of Aldiscon, and helped Openwave rise to dominance in the WAP arena as acting VP Sales.
