SMC has been at the forefront of research into customer perceptions of service and customer satisfaction for the past nine years. Based in Maidenhead, Berkshire but with a multi-national client base serving companies in the UK, USA, Far East and South Africa, SMC are the developers and sole suppliers of SMF, a unique software tool for measuring and managing customer perceptions of service.
Recognising the need for quality customer perception measurement in a web based environment, many months were spent researching and developing the idea; recruiting and vetting the Visitor panel and asking potential clients for their views. Finally in March 2000 VisitorFriendly was launched.
