Description
After developing a successful eye care practice in the south suburbs of Chicago, Dr. Lipschultz found himself enjoying the challenges of providing eye care for visually impaired persons. His Olympia Fields, Illinois practice rapidly grew into one of Chicago’s key resources for low vision care and devices.
During the course of one of his low vision examinations, a VM was prescribed to assist the patient in reading and writing needs. The family members requested to rent the devices for their father.
After researching the U.S. for rental options, Dr. Lipschultz found no such resource. Shortly thereafter he formed a company dedicated to providing multiple options (including rental) for VM’s and other low vision devices. The company, Sight Systems Rentals, Inc. now rents low vision devices nationally to visually impaired persons, employers, state organizations and school systems.
