Virginia Big Bass Contest
Description
The Virginia Big Bass Contest makes it easy for everyone to compete in our contest. You don't need a boat or a lot of expensive fishing tackle. After entering the contest you fish on your own time anywhere in the state of Virginia. Fish as often as you like. You may use artificial or live bait. Fish lakes, rivers or ponds. To certify Bass, have it weighed at any place of buisness that has a certified scale. Bass weights are not posted untill the contest is over to protect your entry. Certify as many bass as you like on a single entry fee, only your biggest by weight will be eligable to win one of the top five cash prizes.
If you don't catch one of the five winning bass this year, you'll still have many chances to win in our weekly drawings, where we give away hundreds of dollors of tackle and gear, just for entering our contest. And at the end of the contest, we have a Grand Prize Drawing for a lifetime fishing license, worth up to $250.00. Everyone entering the contest has an equal chance of winning these prizes, I personally guarantee it.
The VBBC recommends that all bass not being harvested, to be returned unharmed back into the waters from which it came. My partner and I fish many open team bass tournaments and never have we brought to the scale a dead fish.
