We are dedicated to making the control of diabetes easier. Our company was founded and is operated by people with diabetes or who are directly involved with the disease. Vigora conducts research into computerization of the control and maintenance activities of people with diabetes. Vigora's objective is to eventually make control entirely computerized, safe, portable, and with exciting and fun interfaces.
Founder and diabetic. Blumenthal is also CEO-Chairman of The Seattle Consulting Group International and a lecturer in business at the University of Washington, Seattle and he sits on the boards of various businesses and organizations. His main interests are management development and leadership consulting with businesses and organizations, as well as profit improvement projects for which he has developed several software products. He loves to sail, do photography, and play racquetball.
Roman Victor considers himself first and foremost a Software Developer specializing in diabetes software and data mining. He developed a Palm OS based expert system for insulin pump users Diabetes Solutions GlucoGuide. Roman also created, developed, and manufactured DAN: Diabetes All-Year Notebook, a computer program for diabetes self-management. He then managed under contract with UCONN Medical Center, the commercial development of Video Diabetes: MISSION CONTROL, a diabetes-teaching tool modeling the kinetics of glucose in humans.
