Description
Attending a wake in 2004, company founder Sergio E. Aguirre was inspired by a multimedia tribute celebrating the life of a relative who had recently passed away. As the tribute was played on a movie screen, he noticed that the somber mood was suddenly lifted and tears turned to smiles as guests went from mourning to remembering the good times that the individual had enjoyed. Afterwards, at the interment Sergio scanned the cemetery and noticed the beautiful large headstones and monuments. Immediately, an idea clicked in his head. Why not bring two kinds of tributes together? With his knowledge of technology and his vision at the cemetery, he developed the VIDSTONE Serenity Panel and immediately pursued a patent!
