VERBOSE COMA was founded in 2003, somewhere between the US and the UK by actor and writer Andi Teran , and creative director Hamish Robertson .
Beginning as a foray into fevered letter writing, it later developed into a popular blog targeted by tens of thousands of people each month. In 2004, Verbose Coma invited Brooklyn-based mover/shaker Deirdre Corley into the control room, collaborating on such projects as The Gorgeous Undertow, a night of new British music for NYC, and masterminding Package Deals, a film festival showcasing works from a different global city each month.
Now entering a third faze of existence, VERBOSE COMA acts as an umbrella for the individual and collaborative projects and experiments undertaken by Andi, Hamish, and Deirdre, the documentation of which appears in these archives.
