Description
As you approach Mele Bay from Fiji,you will pass Pango Point to your Starboard, where the defunct and non-working Lighthouse is situated and Devils Point is situated to your Port. From here the town of Port Vila emerges on the island of Efate, curving as it does along the eastern rim of what many consider the most beautiful harbour in the Pacific.
Closer in, Ifira Island comes to Starboard and Malapoa Point to Port of which near each are the Main Entrance Port and Starboard Harbour Buoys which have recently been replaced and are situated as follows.
From here sailors will be able to distinguish houses set in lush tropical gardens as well as diverse architecture of the commercial buildings in the town centre.
