User talk:ROBERTJEWELL
Welcome
I really appreciate you (presumably) using your RealName as your username here on AboutUs - it really helps to foster a nice sense of community. I'm excited that you've chosen to explore the wonderful world of wiki here at AboutUs.org - the place where everyone may collaborate to build the commons and community through their constructive edits and participation. Welcome! Go ahead and and see what else you can improve upon, whether it be a wiki page for a domain/Web site or your very own PersonalPage.
Be sure to let us/me know if you have any questions along the way (you can leave a message on my talk page via the talk link by my name, join the AboutUs WebIRC here, or check the "currently online" section on the homepage for someone knowledgeable and send them a message on their talk page). I wonder if you might want to add a little information about yourself on [[User:|your personal page]]? (Check out PersonalPages for guidance or click my name below as an example.) Please don't hesitate to let me know if you'd like some assistance in accomplishing your goals on AboutUs and if you fancy some help or new ideas I've found the help page to be a nice resource. Welcome to the AboutUs community - it's great to have you!
Have a most wonderful day!

Thanks Kristina
I assure you that is my real name. Thanks so much for the warm welcome.
Alright then..
Remember the bit about not making sections :)
I suppose, just stick to the boundaries of common sense and I don't see how there can be any problems. If we both understand each other, I'll even ask for this talk page to be deleted to start from scratch. Okay? You just can't be using such words, too many red flags go up in people's minds, mine included. Nathan (talk) / 00:48, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
Thanks Nathan. I am not here to be a problem. I actually think Aboutus.org is a wonderful site. And I thank you for adding my website Abbygaymen.com to it. It really needs the attention to get it "out" to my community. So again Thanks.
- I didn't add it. I personally didn't even touch that page except for revert something suspicious-looking at the time. You probably don't want to do anything with Portals unless you can constructively feature your website without BIG HUGE ALL CAPS ADVERTISEMENTS THAT LOOK LIKE SHOUTING. Thanks, Nathan (talk) / 01:40, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
- I just came along and changed it a bit more to make it conform to InternalLinking. You can add associated sites to that area following the same format. The portal is used to connect sites together. DrewMyers | talk 18:54, 13 June 2007 (PDT)
Thanks for the help.
I wasn't actually thanking you personally Nathan for adding my website. It was more towards you as a part of aboutus.org. I know you dont have that much control over content.
- Okay! Pop over to my talk page anytime (or click the e-mail button) if you need anything. Nathan (talk) / 04:13, 13 June 2007 (UTC)
Made additions and changes to including the following changed description, added purpose, added future.
added my contact info to mygaybc.com

Portal
Hi ,
I am writing about your portal: the Portal. I am going through the portals and removing those that don't really fit our definition of a portal or that lack content. The portal only has a few lines of text and if it relates to you alone, then it seems like that content would fit best on your userpage. The idea of an online resource for gay men is a great one. Perhaps you might create a portal towards that end, a more expansive portal. If you have any questions or if you would like some help, please contact me on my User Talk Page.
