Unistudium courses and services for international study abroad italy programs. Centro Linguistico Italiano Dante Alighieri (CLIDA), founded in 1966 is directed by Alberto and Gabriella Materassi. It is Italy's first private language school. The primary location of the school is Florence, the birthplace of Dante Alighieri who is known as 'the father of the Italian language'. A second language center was opened in Rome in 1978, and at present, CLI Dante Alighieri is comprised of two schools in Florence, one in Rome and various sister schools in Greece. Currently, our schools in Florence have been set up specifically for hosting study abroad programs. Our school in Rome carries on other specific language programs destined for other target groups. CLIDA is a special place which has always been felt by all programs it has hosted.
