UMP is a guild as old as Ultima Online itself. It was organized in 1998 on the Japanese Wakoku shard, where it grew to over 200 members in a very short period of time. After a period of explosive growth and internal philosophical differences, the guild split into PvP (Player versus Player) and PvM (Player versus Monster) factions, and later, split further into five separate guilds based on play style.
