I'm Sparky, generally known as Dan Rhatigan, and I run this joint. There's plenty to be discovered about me if you just look around, but here are a few assorted details to enhance your understanding of who I may or may not be:
I was born in 1970 in scenic Staten Island, the unglamorous, semi-suburbany part of New York City. I grew up the youngest of six kids, and I have 25 first cousins. Can you tell we're Irish Catholic?
I may have been raised Irish Catholic, but I've since decided that organized religion doesn't make much sense for me, and I don't drink or smoke. I try to fight what little Irish heritage I have left by avoiding a tendency to be too taciturn or maudlin. I'm still Irish enough for the sun to be my natural enemy.
