- Once upon a time…this site idea was created after a extended trip to Europe while meeting up with great people all along the way. After contemplating on what site to choose to share stories, ideas, comments and pictures with each other, I decided why not just create a site that suits those needs. What better way than to get all the ideas out on paper (literally 100's of little pieces, ranging from napkins to journal) and ultimately form them into a site that provides all the information and functionality that everyone was looking for, yet somehow found lacking on other sites. I certainly hope you get to enjoy the site as much as I enjoyed creating it. Oh yes, much like a backpacking adventure, building the site had it stressful moments too, but it's all fun and games and made the good moments that much more special. Any new ideas for the site are welcome as the community and network that forms here will get to choose what happens next.
