We believe that record labels can find ways to commercially exploit new artists in ways that can leave the artists financially and creatively free even while huge profits from these artists are pouring in for the labels. Above and beyond treatment of individual artists, we also are committed to finding ways for the music industry to profit less by commoditizing artists and more by qualitizing their selection of artists, thus creating a new demand for music by appealing to the ecclectic tastes of the listening public and raising consumer expectations. The best Atlanta music, loved by all who hear it, is performed by local Atlanta musicians consigned to years of futile toil in the trenches, often without ever having the opportunity to move up into big leagues. Here at Treatwell Music, we say that revolutionary music requires a revolutionary business plan.
