Steve Bradley started his pro wrestling career in 1991. At the age of 15, Bradley began working for many promotions in the north east, NWA/CWA, Ringside Wrestling, ECWA, UCW, NEW and many more local organizations. At the time Steve was best known for becoming the 1999 ECWA "Super-8" Tournament winner. Bradley continued to travel the east coast on the independent wrestling circut untill 1998 when Steve signed a 3 year contract with the World Wrestling Federation (WWE).
Soon after signing with the WWE, Steve was asked to make bi-weekly trips to the WWE headquaters in Stamford, Conn. for private training sessions with WWE Talent Director, Dr. Tom Pritchard and Olympic Gold Medalist, Kurt Angle.
After a few months, Bradley and Kurt Angle were assigned to Power Pro Wrestling, in Memphis, TN where the two shared an apartment and continued to train together.
