Tool Tree was invented in Denver about 3 years ago by Walter Geldenhuys. He desperately needed a storage solution that could hold more tools in a smaller area. He built the first one in his garage and began using it. As his friends would stop by and see it, they wanted to know how to get one.
After a lot of hard work, Walter was able to refine and patent the design. He then began searching for a manufacturer - in the United States, that could produce this item to his exacting specifications. It had to be made of high quality steel, using the best manufacturing techniques. It had to be durable and weatherproof. It had to be easy to assemble and mount. It had to be affordable. Finally, Walter found the right match.
Walter and I (Doug) have been friends for several years. We recently began looking for a way to bring this product to a broader audience. The Internet was an obvious choice, we can reach the most people, and offer Tool Tree at the lowest price. Doug is the computer support for ToolTree.us. He handles all the technical issues from website design to imaging and advertising.
