Tom Rule has two alter-egos which reflect his 2 primary passions: music & technology.
As the MaconMacGuy, he provides website and email hosting, technical support for both Macs and Windows, and basically assists small businesses with making their technology work. This could involve training, discovering (and implementing) new online technologies that give the business new capabilities or makes their life easier, or just helping them get their machines to work again. He has setup website, email accounts, backup systems, provided training, and configured networks for http://www.tomrule.info/mac/portfolio.htm several small businesses] in the Macon and middle Georgia area since the early 1990's.
As the MacMusicGuy, Tom teaches piano privately and at Macon State College. He also does studio work - recording, writing, and arranging (he is an ASCAP writer, signed to Sign Wave Records). He has several indie album credits, including 2 he produced, arranged, and performed on with the Praise Band for Vineville North Baptist. Tom plays keyboards with the Joey Stuckey Band (classic rock, jazz, and Joey Stuckey originals), the Bob Huellemeir Orchestra (big band and small combo traditional jazz), tom&co (praise band for Vineville North), and is an occasional substitute keyboardist for The Grapevine (in South Carolina they would be called a shag band, a phrase which has nothing to do with sex). He also offers several services relating to sound design, writing, and music technology.
