America's Seniors is the creation of Daniel Hines, who previously was involved in starting another web site dealing with senior news and issues.

Realizing the need to expand the horizons of that site, Hines spun off America's Seniors, a name that, as he puts it, "carries the implications of a new, more active and innovative web site than traditional print senior publications."
