Software Kids is keenly aware of the rapidly changing global environment as it relates to innovation through engineering and its subsequent impact on competitiveness both on a personal and national level. Now, more than ever, it is critically important to foster and encourage the enrollment of our youth in engineering curriculums in order to position future generations as technical innovators and implementers.
Software Kids is also focused on closing the gender gap in engineering enrollment and career choices between men and women. Software Kids understands that the low enrollment rates of women are not a result of differences in ability between genders, but instead a lack of gender specific message delivery as it relates to field’s of study, career option’s and personal and social impact.
Technology has the increasing ability to enhance every area of our lives and our planet as a whole. Today, there are far more career choices available than the big three (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil) and Software Kids is committed to exposing our inquisitive young female students to these exciting and rewarding fields through innovative female oriented educational software.
