I was captured by the Chico and the Man syndrome this week. The place where everybody says, “It’s not my job, man.”
We have a cafeteria plan at work. I don’t know why it’s called that. There’s no food involved, not even any old woman who doesn’t shave her armpits even though she insists on wearing a sleeveless dress. (Gotta be careful, starting to sound like Andy Rooney). Anyway, this cafeteria plan reimburses you (reimburse? Anyone know what a imburse is?) for any expenses our insurance doesn’t cover. Like co-pays, deductibles, prescriptions, etc.
Last year, there wasn’t any problem getting reimbursed for the co-pays. I simply sent them either the CC receipt or got the receptionist at the doctor to give me a written receipt.
