Business Environment Partnership
Description
The Business Environment Partnership (BEP), was established in 1998 to provide free assistance with environmental management to small to medium sized businesses throughout Scotland. The principal aim of our projects is to make the Scottish economy more competitive by allowing companies to realise: 1. Cost savings through waste minimisation and improved waste management, improved energy efficiency, reduced water use and effluent production, reduced raw material consumption etc 2. Reduced risks through assured compliance with environmental legislation and a reduced risk of non-compliance 3. Improved competitive advantage through the development of new products and services with associated environmental benefits and by allowing companies to operate in supply chains requiring specific environmental credentials, eg ISO14001.
