Tom Harris of the Canada Free Press, a conservative newspaper based in Toronto, wrote an article that appeared in Monday’s edition titled, “ Scientists Respond to Gore’s Warnings of Climate Catastrophe.” The goal of this article was to discredit Al Gore’s recent documentary, “ An Inconvenient Truth” and provides arguments against long term climate modeling for determining a reasonable solution to global warming and insists that carbon dioxide trends over the geologic time scale do not correlate well with temperature trends, among other arguments.
This article brings forth the other side of the climate change argument, which is oftentimes not available in the mainstream media since this position is not popular for many reasons. A logical question that looms after one reads this article is what some of these scientists hypothesize as the cause for the dramatic increase in global average surface temperature.

I just thought I'd let everyone know that Alberto is basically a hybrid system right now. It is developing the comma shape, but clearly has active warm core convection. At any rate, we are probably done with this system. In the interim it is time to get ready to shift our eyes back to the Caribbean.
