Description
Sparsh is an NGO for Underprivileged promoted by Marvel Group comprising of Mother’s Pride, Presidium, Adiva and The Knowledge Tree came into existence in 1996. Sparsh is dedicated to the empowerment and welfare of all sections of the society- women, children, elderly and especially the physically & mentally challenged. Their aim is to empower underprivileged with the necessary skills to manage life on their own. However, the thrust area of Sparsh is empowerment of mentally and physically challenged children. It also came up with following projects like :-
1. Savera special school not only provides education to underprivileged children but also educates and trains them to lead a normal life despite of their disabilities so that they can be self reliant and productive.
2. Sparsh School is built in order to rehabilitate deprived & street children of India. They are provided primary education, so that, they can be enrolled in formal government schools.
3. Project Shakti aims to provide the education to girl child in India that will empower them, and save them from poverty and exploitation.
4. Employment to persons with disabilities aims at providing employment to the disable people and disabled adults who need to be empowered.
