There are well over 100 million websites on the internet of today. Although a good portion of it is pornography, there are several great sites on the web. It's really easy to find a good laugh on the internet with all the humor sites that range from articles, like on i-mockery.com, to videos like on compfused.com, to a compilation of things that allow users to submit things like on newgrounds.com. Well, even with all these great websites, I think there can be room for one more. The Shadow Sun is solely dedicated to user-based articles. A person can submit an article on whatever subject they choose. It can be funny like the articles usually submitted by one of our staff members, Shade, or can also be serious to get a point across. Users can address concerns on politics and world issues. Think of this place as an online magazine, but the users write the articles on what they choose. This isn't only a place to submit content, but also to read and review it. If an article is very well done and got whatever message it was trying to send, it will be rated highly and vice-versa.
Although we encourage submitting articles the most, there is other things to check out on TSS. We have a level system to show who has been submitting the most and best articles and a very good item system. Not everything is available to new users like amount of images allowed on an article, an avatar and profile image, improved vote weight, and many other additional features. Don't forget the forum aswell. It's a good place to discuss and formulate ideas, discuss articles, address problems and concerns, or just to talk and go crazy. Our library of articles will be ever growing so there is a lot of good content to read if you don't even feel like submitting an article. Overall, we want users writing and submitting their stuff. That is of course our backbone and inorder to have a large library, we will need a large amount of articles being submitted. Another thing we encourage is talking about the site. Most sites get spread quicker by word of mouth than by advertising so if you think that TSS is a great site, tell your friends about it!
What you see now is most likely what it will be in the future, but we do plan on continuing to improve and expand TSS. Expect to see new things like additional items to use, a streamlined more organized article library. The site will most likely improve upon anything that needs improving. The site will most likely be getting "facelifts" every so often aswell. We will be planning to allow users to also review media, like movies, video games, and music new and old. We might also make "groups" that users can join that work together to make articles that share the same vision of several users. Anything can be possible in the future, so you'll have to stick around and see what's coming around the bend for TSS.
