Description

The Plain Jane has been running for just over five years. Alyssa and Mary run this site for their own arbitrary amusement. Once, someone said to them, "You guys are like the Seinfeld of the internet," since the site is funny, and about nothing. They think that's fairly accurate.

Alyssa just moved from San Diego to Los Angeles to do some lawyerin. She spends much of her spare time reading, and playing Scrabble, Boggle, and bingo. She also really likes sleeping and eating, particularly sushi; she is fortunate to derive so much enjoyment from natural functions of life.

Alyssa is currently reading whatever anyone tells her to, so you should recommend something. As far as music goes, she really likes Tom Waits, The Mountain Goats, Mike Doughty, Flogging Molly, and tons of others.
