- Descended from the Clarks and Higginbothams of Ohio and Minnesota, Vin Suprynowicz was born in Connecticut near the beginning of the Post-War Baby Boom. He graduated Eaglebrook School in 1965 and Wesleyan University in Middletown, Conn. in 1972 with a degree in Art and a concentration in Filmmaking, working his way through high school and college as a disc jockey, playwright, short-order cook, motel night clerk ("The Lord Cromwell Motor Inn"), and member of the relentlessly unsuccessful rock & roll band "The Four Shadowings of Doom."
