The Bridge Community Church launched its first service on October 6, 2002. It was the culmination of a dream for Pastor Tim Jacobs, who had moved his family out from Southern California in January of 2002 to begin to lay the groundwork for a brand new church.
The church name is very important. In order for a bridge to function, each end must have a strong connection. Pastor Tim's vision for this church was that it would always have a strong connection to God and a strong connection to the culture. In other words, we want to love God and love people, and center our ministry around teaching others to get really good at doing both!
We are an evangelical church. We teach the Bible as being the inspired, error-free Word of God, and we do our very best to bring out the wonder and beauty that it possesses and put it on display each week.
