We felt the need to connect kids in their seats with intercessors at the moment they needed prayer, regardless of what was going on at that time. By text messaging their prayer requests, the students could have someone begin praying for their needs without leaving their seats. The first night we were slammed with more requests than we expected, which is a great problem to have. It was incredible seeing the response and humbling to see the requests. God used this conference to open our hearts to the need for continual behind the scenes prayer at events like this. We started the website as a place to continue praying for the requests of conference and to widen our area of influence. We have a vision for Phil46 to serve at other conferences and for our website to be a place of continued prayer for requests, both from conferences and the website.
