TechnoEarthMama
In recent years, I’ve encountered a number of women who have a couple of things in common:
We’re interested in sustainable living. We bike, bus, and/or walk by choice.
We buy local foods, grow our own, and even can and freeze some of it. If we’re parents, we might use cloth diapers, and we might be into attachment parenting and breastfeeding.
and
We’re tech-savvy. We’re not Luddites, even though we do some old-fashioned things. We keep up with what’s happening in Web 2.0. We blog, use Twitter and Facebook, and participate in online communities of various types. We may log in from a desktop computer, laptop, or mobile device.
I happen to be a mama (although not all of the women I interact with online are mothers). Therefore, I’ve dubbed my blogself TechnoEarthMama. I write about sustainable living, transportation, parenting, writing, politics, and whatever else is on my mind.
