The Garden Escape Tea Room & gift shoppe is located at 250 W. First St. suite # 152 in the Village of Claremont, next to the historic metrolink station. The Garden Escape is a tranquil place with the relaxing sound of water to shop, have a pot of tea, homemade soup and sandwiches or enjoy a full afternoon tea. The gift selection includes teapots, teacups, gourmet teas, organic coffee, gift baskets tea party accessories, Unique merchandise, desktop fountains and many other delightful gifts. The gourmet teas available in the shop are Republic of Tea, Harney & Sons, and Fortunes teas. These teas are available to purchase or to enjoy in the shop. Take the San Bernardino Freeway (10) east, existing on Indian Hill Boulevard. Make a left at the end of the ramp onto Indian Hill Blvd. heading north. Pass under the freeway and continue on Indian Hill for approximately 2 miles. (You will cross over Arrow Highway). Once you pass over the railroad tracks, make a right onto First Street. * After the first stop sign, you will see an office building on your right hand side. We are in between Yale and Harvard Street and right next to the Metrolink Depot. We are on the first floor, suite # 152. There are 4 parking spaces in front of our tea room reserved for our customers. If these spaces are taken, please look for parking along the center meridian. We do not suggest that you park in the parking lot of these are reserved for permit parking only and you could get ticketed by the parking patrol. NOTE: This does not apply on Sunday's - you may park in the parking lot on sundays as it is considered "open parking". OR
Take the 210 Freeway east, existing Towne Avenue. Make a right to Towne Avenue going south. Left of Foothill Blvd., right on Indian Hill Blvd going south. Left on First Street. Follow the directions as above AFTER the *.
