About TeTalesTai.com

According to the Vocabulary of the Greek Testament the word TETELESTAI was the key word that was used on a receipt to show that is was paid in full. During the 1st century it was normal practice for a prisoner’s charge sheet to be nailed onto his cell door. The offences that he was found guilty of were written on this charge sheet. His sentence was also written on this charge sheet. After he completed the imprisonment for these offences that he committed the charge sheet was removed from the prison door. The word “TETELESTAI” was written in big letters all over the charge sheet and handed over to the now free man. This person could never be charged for these offences ever again.
