Unlike many of the larger tax resolution firms who may assign your case to some unknown "case worker", Mr. Kendall personally handles ALL tax debt resolution cases that come into our office. Bill is an Enrolled Agent, an individual licensed by the U.S. Treasury Department to represent taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service. Obtaining Enrolled Agent status involves taking a battery of exams created and administered by the IRS and given over a two day period in September of each year. The exams cover advanced taxation topics for Individuals, Corporations, Partnerships, Sole Proprietorships, Estates, Trusts, and IRS Administration. Upon successful completion of this series of exams, individuals are subjected to a rigorous background check which takes three to six months to complete. If no problems arise as a result of the background check, individuals are then awarded the Enrolled Agent license. Enrolled Agents, along with tax attorneys and CPAs, are the only professionals permitted to practice before the IRS in tax debt resolution cases.
