The Table Shop opened its doors in 1993 and is owned and operated in partnership by Andrzej Kosmider and Billy Stafford. Our work includes both limited edition furniture and work done on commission.
Our aim at The Table Shop is to create a range of furniture that has an individual design style while at the same time providing an alternative to commercially available furniture products. We work exclusively with selected solid timbers, primarily Australian Hardwoods such as Tasmanian Oak & Jarrah.
As a graduate in Architecture from the University of NSW Andrzej understands the importance of design in the production process. Andrzej knows that there are no shortcuts to a good design and therefore a considerable amount of his time is spent on the design aspect of furniture-making. As a result of this emphasis on design, our portfolio of work continues to grow and evolve.
