- System Protection Services was founded in 1999 by Principal Engineer John J. Kumm, P.E. with the mission of making it easier for clients to take advantage of high-performance protection solutions. Using a strong work ethic, a depth of relaying experience, and a diverse referral network, John developed a steadily growing client base. In the fall of 2001, Andy Clary, P.E. joined the company, bringing his own interest in protection and experience in networking and electrical design to the company. In 2003, John and Andy began exploring methods of packaging their protection and integration skills in a manner that would allow more customers to use them, and the EasiLinc concept was born. After hearing the company’s plans for the EasiLinc product line, Dave Kratovil joined the organization in 2004 to lead the development of an independent representative sales force focused on promoting EasiLinc products.
