Sysco Analytics Limited is a world leader in analyser system engineering

Description

Sysco Analytics Limited is one of the world's leading analyser systems engineering companies. It provides specialist instrument and control engineering services, from consulting through to the manufacture of packaged systems. Work undertaken ranges from small feasibility studies to the design and supply of a system incorporating computers and packaged process analyser systems having a value in excess of £5 million.

The company became Sysco Analytics in 1991, following a management Buy-out of Ludlam Sysco from Rotork plc at the end of 1990. Ludlam Sysco was formed in 1977 by the amalgamation of the two companies, Ludlam Engineering Ltd of Reigate, Surrey and Systems and Components Ltd in Devizes, Wiltshire. The former, started in 1974, carried out consulting and contracting work and the latter, formed in 1961, designed and built analyser packages. In 1983 operations were consolidated on a 3 acre (1.2 ha) site with over 30 000 sq. ft (3 000 sq. m) of engineering offices and workshops, at Devizes. In 1996 the company purchased FMA Ltd, a company specialising in hydrocarbon metering products. FMA was relocated to Sysco Analytics' premises but retains its separate identity. Also in 1996 Sysco Analytics Ltd purchased the Refinery Products Business of Rotork Analysis Ltd being primarily Physical Property Refinery Analysers. This has been fully integrated and now forms an inherent part of Sysco Analytics' activities. The activities and areas of interest of Sysco Analytics Limited are concentrated in the field of On-Line Process Analysis. Our expertise and experience can be put to use in almost any process industry, but is most common in Refineries, Chemical Plants and Power Stations. In December 2000 The Sysco Analytics Group was purchased by Flow Industries Ltd. and joined Shipham Valves, Bestobell Valves, Conflow and ACS in The Flow Group.

No process analysis problem is too large or too small. Jobs undertaken range from a single, simple sample system up to a multi million pound order for the complete process analysis requirement on a new refinery Whatever the size of the order, our principles of handling it remain the same. The order is allocated to a Project Engineer who is responsible for it until the client has taken delivery, the equipment is commissioned and operational and the client is fully satisfied. The size of the team working with the Project Engineer will depend on the needs of the job, but will include specialist engineers and designers. All design work is performed using a networked Autocad Computer Aided Design package In engineering a system, every aspect is catered for, including, when appropriate.
