Description
Susan Most has more than 20 years' experience in writing, public relations, and marketing for corporations and non-profits. She is a successful business developer, who has been the principal of a professional service company since 1992. For five years she managed publications and media relations for the Maine Credit Union League, a state-wide trade association serving 100 credit unions. Formerly, she was newspaper editor and public relations coordinator for a not-for-profit umbrella agency serving social service and educational organizations in Southern Maine. Active in the Chambers of Commerce of the Greater Portland Region, Susan Most serves on the boards of several community organizations. She is a former director of the South Portland/Cape Elizabeth Chamber.
Susan Most's articles have been published in the national magazine Hadassah; the Boston Globe, Biddeford Journal Tribune, Portland Press Herald, Maine Sunday Telegram, and Maine Times. For six years, she developed articles and edited a 12-page employee newsletter for J.J.Nissen Baking Company. Her articles have appeared in publications of Bangor Hydro-Electric Company, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Maine, the Spurwink Institute, the Maine Indoor Air Quality Institute, the Chambers of Commerce of Greater Portland, National Semiconductor, and UNUM.
Susan Most has received three Golden Arrow awards from the Maine Public Relations Council in the following categories: excellence in writing, newsletters, and special events. Her work also won awards at five successive marketing communications conferences sponsored by the Credit Union National Association.
