Our hats also use a UV protective fabric blocking over 97% of harmful UV rays which can cause skin cancer. The fabric is a multi-ply nylon that is comfortable and lightweight, so it dries quickly, yet is still very strong and durable. The chinstraps use a locking cam design to provide an easily adjustable, but completely non-slip function. The bill is shorter, to provide more visibility, and used black material to absorb and reduce glare and sun reflection off the water. Each hat is handmade, hand-sewn in the United States.
