I have been interested in healing as long as I can remember, even while pursuing a technical career in computers. Over time, I felt less and less satisfied with the impersonal world of computers and realized that I needed to pursue my dream of helping people heal.
In our modern world, we receive very little safe touch, very little comforting, very little reassurance that we are okay exactly as we are. I want to serve my community by providing safe touch, comfort, reassurance and deep attention to heal the hurt places in many of us. I believe that, as each of us becomes more whole and healthy, so the world becomes a little more whole and peaceful.
I learned about Reiki while seeking treatment for chronic pain in my elbows and it was one of the few treatments that proved effective. During my first class in Reiki, I was filled with the joyous recognition that this is my healing path.
