He had long envisioned an apparel store like no other, with fashion selections from the best designers around the world, a place where customers could shop for the finest haute-couture, bridal gowns, pret-a-porter, designer jeans, fine lingerie and hosiery, swimwear and a range of fashion accessories, shoes and boots and sandals, and even fashion magazines. But the investment was beyond his reach. So, he turned to the Internet, and in 2000, he placed his first site, StylesFineLingerie.com online, with over five-hundred active links to lingerie and hosiery designers and distributors, and, yes, even trade publications, in more than forty countries worldwide. The response was enormous, over fifteen million unique visitors in the first year.
